first R dead ends at Village C staircase. Base Camp is straight ahead at top.

Feeder Canal:

Lock 6 Parking Lot OR Brookmont Church (for weekdays PM)

Cross C&O Canal on footbridge. R on Towpath. first L trail to river.

(note: no access to downtown on Clara Barton Pkwy in PM)
