    Potomac River, Maryland.  October 2, 2006.  Gauge: 2.91
 
    An evening visit to the Maryland side of Great Falls and a “Blue Angels” run down Pummel, the first drop.  Mike Mathwin filmed for us -- Thanks, Mike!
    It was still a little too high for the “Hairy Ferry,” surfing from river left to right and over Horseshoe Falls.  Maybe another day.
